The business occupies a factory/showroom in the heart of Bridport where examples of our high quality conservatories, windows and doors are displayed. As you would expect from a small company attention to detail and customer service are paramount in everything we do which is why such a high percentage of our business is based on customer recommendation. Design and Structure The PVCu profile feature a multi chamber design with a minimum 3mm wall thickness. They are then fully welded and reinforced to comply with the relevant British Standards. The frame thickness overall is 70mm deep. Choices of glazing bead and colour of weather stripping enable you to create a window to your own specification. Our glass units we install are 28mm overall incorporating Pilkington ‘K’ 4mm float glass providing the optimum combination of thermal insulation and noise reduction. Security Features The opening windows feature a substantial shoot bolt espagnolette locking mechanism which allows all opening vents to be locked in a slightly open position. We also fit high security stainless steel friction hinges which will withstand forcing by a crow bar or similar. This means the windows are not vulnerable to an attack by an opportunist burglar from either the locking or hinge side. For complete peace of mind all of our windows are glazed from the inside which means that the glass cannot be removed from the outside by an opportunist burglar. The combination of all the aforementioned security features add up to arguably the most secure PVCu system available today.
